Starting from.... when? Mostly Otakon

I think it will be easier to do this in pieces. At some point in June, I started dating a nice HK boy. We were very happy. He dumped me less than 2 weeks ago for lameass reasons. I will get back to that later, possibly another post. I did take him to see fireworks on the beach for 4th of July. I was a shot girl at a biker party at my dad's motorcycle club. I stayed a few days at my aunt's place while she was out of the country just to make sure my cousin got up for work on time and didn't burn the house down smoking with his friends. Made a little money which is good cuz i had Otakon and concerts coming up.

In the meantime, I was asked to take over some aspects for my friends' band Typherus. Perhaps some of you have heard of them. If not, you should give them a listen. They are working on finishing another album. I'm not their PR rep, co-head of street team, and prob something to do with selling merch, cuz the other girl they have lined up is a bitch and can't sell for shit. She also is extremely rude and unprofessional. And she tried to spread rumors about me. I dislike her.
I also feel like I may end up sort of managing them. They really need somebody to help keep their shit in line. Get them interviews, make sure they don't say the wrong thing in those interviews. Anyway, helping them achieve success is what i hope for me and them.

Anyway...
Otakon is where things really started off. I left work early to catch the train down to Baltimore with my friend Paul. We got out badges, met up with the rest of the people from our group and went out to dinner. It was definitely a fun dinner updating each other on things, letting each other know about rumors ppl hav tried to unsuccessfully spread, we laughed alot.
Friday, I spent most of the morning painting MYV tattoos onto Youko, cuz that was her cosplay. It was a very successful cosplay. Pics are up on facebook. My outfit for the rave that night was totally epic. Again, facebook.
Saturday, Youko was in the h.Naoto fashion show. She was def like thee best model and best walker. I helped out a little at the Nekocon booth (I will be street teaming for them). And then, there was the event everyone heard about, the fire alarm going off and 30k ppl evacuated onto the streets of baltimore. Kind of epic, there is video footage.
Sat night was the Masquerade which i didnt really care about, what I did go for what the half-time show. Yoshiki and Sugizon from X Japan. So moving and amazing. (Can't wait for Oct. 10, whole band omg. so sad i missed lolla) then a slightly depressing night, but things got better on Sunday.
Sunday, got an h.Naoto Sixh tank top and went to the Home Made Kazoku concert which was pretty good. I saw them checking into the hotel on thursday night while waiting for Youko. Unfortunately i left my tanktop under my chair. When i realized, I ran back, wasnt there, lost and found didnt have it (never got it) So I went back to the h.Naoto booth and bought another. This time Sugizo was at the booth talking to Naoto-san. I also bought X Japan Last Live dvd! And when I went back to the h.Naoto booth to browse a little more, Naoto-san approached me XD Apparently I'm cute and my shirt is cool. I acted as the spokesperson for Nekocon in a Tainted Reality plug. I will prob be helping them out at Nekocon. The Sound Bee HD will be appearing as the band and my good friend DJ Hip Starr will be doing a Mile High party at the rave on Sat night.
Also, I watched the first disk of the Last Live on the train home.

Okay, that's part one of my update. Next part will be my theatre reunion, and if it's not to long, i will include this past week of awesome. Possibly up tomoro.

You know, I really appreciate comments.

Weekend of Awesome

This was a Miyavi filled weekend. On Saturday, I went to the interview at Kinokuniya. Amazing. I think his imitation of Lovely dancing was the best thing ever. He was so excited over her bouncing. I just wish some fangirls and boys knew how to behave. They continued to interrupt Diva and Miyavi, shouting stupid things like "We love you!" and "Cuz you're awesome!" when one of them was about to speak, or trying to think. But both Diva and Miyavi handled it with grace.
After waiting for my friends who were staff for the event to get out, we went to my car to make a disturbing discovery. Somebody, either an incompetant thief or an asshole vandal, pried the lock out of my driver's side door... and took it with them! Now there is a hole in my door and i have to unlock my car from the passenger side. It compliments the broken lock on my truck, which also happened at an event in the city. Thankfully there was nothing inside it. It just won't open. Oh, i called the thief incompetant because despite that hienous act, they couldn't get into my car. M GPS and radio were still inside.
After the discovery, we moved my car down to the Fillmore, and I got the best parking spot possible: first spot right in front of the door. Then we walked down to the east village for food and back after. I washed my face and changed into more comfortable pant at McDonald's, like homeless. I decided to "sleep"early. I went to my car at like 3:30 I guess. It was hard sleeping cuz there was a pride event going on at the venue and people kept sitting on my car... with me inside! Inconsiderate.
I got a good amount of sleep an d got up the next day a bit after 10. I spent a good portion of the day stressing out because I was retarded and forgot to print my ticket.
Even though it as hot and too sunny, I love hanging out on line the day of a show, talking to all my friends that i really only see at shows. I do hate the waiting, but we always find a way to make it fun.
My boyfriend did make it in time with my ticket that he printed for me, and my drear friend paul had an extra just in case he didnt get there in time because we couldn't find youko's extra tkt. It went MIA.

Finally it was time for the show. I got front row!!! Even though it was unbearably hot and the pushing was excessive (my ribs still hurt), it was sooo worth it. Miyavi was sweating practically before he started, and he said tat he would never forget the show because of the heat. There was a break after almost every song to pull people out and hand out water.
The performance was amazing. My new favorite song is definitely Super Motherfucker Bitch.
Even though I barely made it to the end of the show, bein so tempted to get pulled out so many times, staying was worth it. MYV ran along te rail twice, so we got high 5's. Yay!
About the heat, we were all dripping with a combination of water and sweat long before the concert was over. It was really gross. After i spent what should hav been my creditcard payment on a t-shirt, I went to girls bathroom and took my shirt. Then I ran it under the cold water faucet and put it back on.
And through all that, my make-up stayed on. my eyeshadow wasnt even smudged. Thank god for setting powder. It's magical.

Graduation

Today is my little sister's high school graduation. I'm not going.
Yes, I feel guilty, because she came to mine.
But high school graduations are extremely boring. I wouldn't hav been upset if she hadn't come to mine.
Mine was a little weird because it was at night, with the entire graduating class sitting on risers on the stage. I sat in the back row at the top near the end. I spent the entire ceremony with my mp3 player on with headphone on. I didn't listen to a single long-winded speech.
I also went up to get my diploma barefoot, cuz i'm awesome.

I'm not really a big ceremony person. If I went tonight, i would either be reading a book or falling asleep. I'm sure my sister will get over it.
And even if I wanted to go, I wouldnt be getting there until almost 8:30 if I left my internship an hour early. It starts at 7.

So, I'm sorry Carolyn. Love ya, sis, but I'm not going.

Healthy

Lately, I have been very hungry while at my internship. There's no food in the office, not even a vending machine. Because I have just this side of $0, I bring food with me. but, I always try to bring healthy stuff. I never bring chips or bad junk food (so far). I'll bring Special K bars (the yummy Crips ones) and a sandwich or left over pasta. I can't really eat food in the morning, I get full after like half a piece of toast or start to feel sick. I think that's from years of not eating breakfast at all. Instead, I bring a slimfast and drink it on the train. Barely made it to the train on time this morning.

I also usually bring a piece of fruit with me. I have been very into red delicious apples. they are sweet and have a very crisp crunch ^_^

Even after all this food and trying to space out my snacks during the day, and even getting extra dinner on wed or thurs nights before i leave from the concert evry week, I'm still starving by the time I'm on the train home. I'm very good about resisting stopping at burger king on the way home, though.

I'm very worried about getting fat sitting an office all day snacking, no matter how healthy the snacks may be. I don't wanna get fat but I can't concentrate on my work if my stomach is growling at me like an animal. What to do?

In the mean time, I'm gonna finish my applle and try to stay healthy.

Starting Anew

I've decided to start a new blog, separate from my myspace, my photoblog, my facebook, my twitter, and all those other form of social networking (of course I'll be posting the link to here on there, so not totally separate).

I don't really know what I want it to become yet, but to go along with certain parts of my life ending and whole new things starting, and I think this is a better way to document that than twitter updates and facebook statuses (stati?).

I think it would be awesome if I got a lot of followers, but I know that that isnt what matters. It's not all about being popular.

Ok, that's my inital start off. I promise to be more diligent about posting here than I was on my personal myspace
